The 2019 Pig’s Ear Folk Ale festival takes place from Thursday 30th to Sunday 2nd June 2019.
As is now traditional, we open Thursday evening with a ceilidh in Markbeech Village Hall. The music continues from midday on Friday and runs through to Sunday evening.
As well as the concerts in the main marquee, there will be workshops, singarounds, Morris dancing and crafts, plus as always a chance for you to have a go at maypole dancing.
We have had to increase ticket prices this year due to increased costs – but a Festival Pass is still fantastic value for the feast of wonderful music Folk Ale serves up. Book your tickets here.
We rely on our wonderful team of volunteer stewards to help out on site, so if you can help, please see the call for volunteers, or contact our volunteer co-ordinator, Barbara Roberts: firstname.lastname@example.org. Volunteers will be entitled to a reduced price Festival Pass.
The festival is a not-for-profit event run on a shoestring budget. Huge thanks go to the voluntary organising committee who do all the paddling below the water to make the festival run smoothly.
