The work of organising and running Folk Ale depends on a lot of work by a small number of people – or a small amount of work by a lot of people! In other words – WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!! We want to start collecting the names of people who are willing to steward the campsite, run the ticket desk, staff the festival shop, set up/take down, tidy up, sort problems and generally help out on-site. Concessionary tickets are available to those willing to spend a few hours in the festival engine room – if you would like to volunteer, please contact the Membership Secretary, Sue Rule firstname.lastname@example.org.
Confirmed guests for Folk Ale 2020 so far include: John Kirkpatrick, Sam Kelly and Jamie Francis; Suntrap; Glymjack; Mazaika; Mike Nicholson; Foot Down and The Lowly Strung. More to follow – see Folk Ale 2020.
Following our AGM on 25th June, we have the team in place to organise Folk Ale 2020. However, one critical vacancy in the team is for someone to orchestrate our publicity. If you have any background in marketing, and you could spare a few hours to help develop our marketing strategy, please contact the Festival Co-Ordinator, James Kerry email@example.com tel: 07402 670883.
