The Pig’s Ear Folk Ale is a small, friendly folk and acoustic music festival which has been running at The Kentish Horse in Markbeech every year since 2003. It takes place on the weekend following the late May Bank Holiday weekend (Whitsun).
The festival is run by a volunteer organising committee. Proceeds from ticket sales fund artists fees and costs such as PA and marquee hire. Donations are made to The Grant Rule Trust from any profits, but any surplus mainly goes towards underwriting the following year’s festival, enabling us to book the guests we – and you – most want to see.
